The State of the Writer

It has been a long time since I've posted regularly on the blog. Mostly because I've been using other platforms (twitter, facebook, etc...) to let people in on what is going on with my writing. But it is nice to have one central location to share. So I thought it was about time I posted.

There are all kinds of things happening in the next month or so. I have a short story, called A Chink in the Armor coming out in an anthology on October 31st. I really liked this story. It basically came by asking myself the following questions: What made Job the man he was in the Bible? How did he get the faith he had? Was there some event in his life that turned him from being self-centered (as we all are) to relying fully on God? I answer that by imagining a scenario where he meets the Behemoth described in the book of Job. Look for it in Forged in Flame: A Dragon Anthology coming at the end of this month from Xchyler Publishing.

Then, in the month of November, I will be embarking on the craziness that is NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month.) Where I will attempt to write the entir first draft of the third Noah Zarc book: Declaration. It should be a blast!

Finally, on December 3rd, I will be releasing Noah Zarc: Cataclysm, the second book in the series. I'm really looking forward to hearing what people think of it. I'll be having a blog tour, and a release party on Facebook. You can join that here.

I'm sure you'll be hearing about all these things in the weeks to come. I sincerly hope I won't bore you with too many updates.

Thanks for all your support.

Congratulations on the release of the book! It sounds like you've been so busy - but in a good way. I hope it is very successful. Thanks for the update!
